Builder Code and Builder Content: same products, same features, clearer names

September 10, 2026

Written By Steve Sewell

Builder has always been one platform that offered two capabilities through Fusion and Publish, and today we've renamed these two products to better reflect what they do. Fusion is now Builder Code and Publish is Builder Content.

The names have changed but nothing else. Everything remains as the same platform, same two capabilities, and the same functionality you already rely on.

We made this change because the old names didn't tell you what they did. Builder Code is where you build with AI agents on real, production code. Builder Content is where you manage and personalize content across your sites and apps. It's now obvious to anyone what these two products offer, whether you're seeing the names for the first time or you've been a customer for years.

If you're an existing customer, your workflow, integration, pricing, packaging, and agreements all stay exactly the same. You'll start seeing Builder Code and Builder Content across our site, docs, products, and we'd love for you to start using the names yourself in conversations with your teams and us.

Please reach out to your rep directly if there are more questions.

Why did you change the name?

Builder has always been one platform with two capabilities, and that remains unchanged. But what is changing is the product names, Fusion to Builder Code, and Publish to Builder Content. The old names didn't tell you what the products did; the new ones do.

  • Builder Code is where you build with AI agents on real, production code.
  • Builder Content is where you manage and personalize content across your sites and apps.

These are the same products and same functionality, but with clearer names.

Does the name change affect the product?

No. The change only impacts the name of the products. Builder Code and Builder Content provides the same functionalities and features that Fusion and Publish offered, respectively. Nothing about the product itself has changed - your workflow, integrations, and functions remain the same.

Does this affect my pricing or contract?

No. Your pricing, packaging, and existing agreements remains unchanged, and anything referencing the old name is still valid.

Do I need to do anything?

No action needed. You'll just start seeing the new names across our site, docs, and materials.

Is this a new product or a rebrand of something?

It's a rename of an existing product, not a new or merged offering. Builder Code is what you knew as Fusion; Builder Content is what you knew as Publish. These remain as the same products with the same features and functionalities that you use day to day.

What about my invoices / SSO / integrations / login?

No functional change. If you spot the old name lingering anywhere, flag it to your rep and we'll get it corrected.
